- 8 small flour tortillas
- Cooking spray or melted butter for greasing
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning or 2 tbsp homemade seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 cups chopped lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly spray tortillas with cooking spray or brush with melted butter, then press them into muffin tin cavities.
Bake the tortilla bowls for 10 to 12 minutes until golden and crisp.
In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, then drain excess fat.
Add taco seasoning and water to the beef, stir, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Fill each tortilla bowl with the seasoned beef and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Return to the oven and bake for 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
Remove from oven and top with chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cilantro.
Mix sour cream and ranch dressing and drizzle over the assembled bites.
