Equipment

  • 1 air fryer
  • 1 small bowl for mixing sugar and cinnamon
  • 1 brush for egg wash and butter

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 8 oz refrigerated crescent roll dough or puff pastry
  • ½ cup Nutella about 150g
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar about 50g
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon optional

Instructions
 

  • Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles or cut puff pastry into 3-inch squares.
  • Slightly flatten each piece of dough.
  • Place about 1 tablespoon Nutella in the center of each dough piece.
  • Fold dough around the Nutella and pinch edges tightly to seal, then roll gently into smooth balls.
  • Brush each ball lightly with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  • Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Arrange balls in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each.
  • Air fry balls for 7 to 9 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  • Brush warm balls with melted butter.
  • Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  • Roll or sprinkle the Nutella Balls in the cinnamon sugar coating.

Notes

  • Freeze Nutella dollops before filling for easier handling.
  • Serve warm for best texture and flavor.
  • Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle melted chocolate for extra indulgence.
  • Store leftovers airtight up to 2 days; reheat in air fryer 2–3 minutes to crisp.
