Equipment

  • 1 baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  • 1 Rolling Pin for dough
  • 1 knife or cutter to cut dough into hearts

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup pizza or marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 pepperoni slices cut into heart shapes
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut into 8 heart shapes using a knife or cutter.
  • Place the dough hearts on the prepared baking sheet and lightly brush the edges with olive oil.
  • Spoon pizza sauce onto each heart-shaped dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce on each pizza.
  • Place a heart-shaped pepperoni slice in the center of each pizza and optionally sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Allow the mini pizzas to cool slightly before serving warm.

  • Add fresh basil leaves after baking for extra flavor.
