Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2-3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 14 oz can tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Dash of hot sauce or cayenne pepper optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add ground beef and finely chopped onion to the skillet.
  • Cook, breaking up the meat, until the beef is browned and the onion is softened.
  • Drain excess fat from the skillet if necessary.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for 30 to 60 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in beef broth, tomato sauce, and tomato paste.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper; stir to combine.
  • Reduce heat to low and simmer the chili for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened and flavorful.
  • Add a dash of hot sauce or cayenne pepper if a spicier chili is desired.
  • Serve the warm chili over hot dogs, burgers, fries, or baked potatoes, with optional toppings like shredded cheese, chopped onions, and mustard.
