1 baking sheet lined with parchment paper
1 fork for sealing pastry edges
1 pastry brush for egg wash
1 Rolling Pin for rolling puff pastry
- 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
- 6 –8 slices ham
- 1 cup cheese cheddar, mozzarella, or Swiss, sliced or shredded
- 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard optional
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped (for garnish)
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place a slice of ham in the center of each pastry square, add cheese on top, and optionally spread Dijon mustard.
Season with black pepper, then fold each square into a triangle or rectangle to form a pocket and seal edges with a fork.

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm to enjoy the gooey melted cheese.
- Add caramelized onions or spinach for extra flavor.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds or bagel seasoning before baking.
- Serve with honey mustard, garlic aioli, or marinara sauce.
