- 3 ripe avocados
- 1/2 cup tomato finely chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion finely diced
- 1 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
- 1 small jalapeño minced (optional)
- 1 –2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Cut avocados, remove pits, and scoop into a bowl. Mash with a fork, leaving some chunks.
Stir in tomato, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño if using.
Add lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently to combine.
Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt or lime juice if needed.
Serve immediately with tortilla chips or use as a topping.
