1 microwave-safe bowl for melting chocolate
1 bowl for soaking strawberries
1 parchment paper for setting dipped strawberries
- 12 –15 large fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup liqueur rum, Baileys, Amaretto, Grand Marnier, or vodka
- 1 tbsp sugar optional
- 7 oz 200 g dark or milk chocolate, chopped
- 1 tsp coconut oil or butter for shine

Wash and dry strawberries thoroughly.
Place strawberries in a bowl with liqueur and optional sugar. Cover and refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes.
Drain strawberries and pat completely dry to ensure chocolate adhesion.
Melt chopped chocolate and coconut oil or butter in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 20 seconds until smooth.
Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip into melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
Place dipped strawberries on parchment paper and add optional toppings while chocolate is still wet.
Refrigerate strawberries for 20 to 30 minutes until chocolate is firm.
Serve chilled for best flavor and texture.
