- 10 –14 oz cooked shrimp chopped
- 1 sheet puff pastry or crescent roll dough thawed
- 1 cup shredded cheese mozzarella, cheddar, or blend
- ½ cup cream cheese softened
- 2 –3 garlic cloves minced
- 2 –3 tbsp fresh parsley or chives chopped
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Optional: lemon zest or hot sauce for extra zing
Combine shrimp, shredded cheese, cream cheese, minced garlic, and herbs in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and mix evenly.
Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll puff pastry or crescent dough on a clean surface; if using crescent dough, pinch seams together.
Spread the shrimp and cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
Roll the dough tightly from one edge into a log shape.
Cut the log into 8–10 equal slices and place them cut-side up on the baking sheet.
Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Allow to cool slightly before serving warm with optional lemon juice or hot sauce.
- Use puff pastry for flakier texture or crescent dough for softer rolls.
- Mix mozzarella with pepper jack for added flavor.
- Serve with marinara, garlic butter, or ranch dip.
- Assemble in advance and refrigerate before baking.
