Ingredients
  

  • 1 package cocktail sausages 14–16 oz
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce fresh or canned
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp ketchup or BBQ sauce optional
  • 1 –2 tbsp apple cider vinegar or orange juice
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or whole cranberries

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan or slow cooker, combine cranberry sauce, brown sugar, and ketchup or BBQ sauce if using.
  • Stir in apple cider vinegar or orange juice to add brightness to the sauce.
  • Add cocktail sausages and stir gently to coat them evenly in the sauce.
  • If cooking on stovetop, simmer over low heat for 15–20 minutes until sauce thickens and becomes glossy, stirring occasionally.
  • If using a slow cooker, cook on low for 2–3 hours until hot and sticky.
  • Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley or fresh cranberries if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Adjust brown sugar or vinegar to balance sweetness and tang.
  • Add cayenne or chili flakes for a mild spicy twist.
  • Serve with toothpicks for easy finger food.
  • Keep warm in slow cooker for parties.
