- 1 package cocktail sausages 14–16 oz
- 1 cup cranberry sauce fresh or canned
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp ketchup or BBQ sauce optional
- 1 –2 tbsp apple cider vinegar or orange juice
- Optional garnish: chopped parsley or whole cranberries
In a medium saucepan or slow cooker, combine cranberry sauce, brown sugar, and ketchup or BBQ sauce if using.
Stir in apple cider vinegar or orange juice to add brightness to the sauce.
Add cocktail sausages and stir gently to coat them evenly in the sauce.
If cooking on stovetop, simmer over low heat for 15–20 minutes until sauce thickens and becomes glossy, stirring occasionally.
If using a slow cooker, cook on low for 2–3 hours until hot and sticky.
Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley or fresh cranberries if desired. Serve warm.
